Andrew Blum is an independant filmmaker living in New York City. He works as a director, producer, cinematographer, and editor.

His director credits include twelve 30-minute programs for the BBC, including the documentary “Driving Mexico’s Economy” (2017), “New York Stories with Joe Pascal” (2018), and the “Talking Movies” 20th-anniversary special (2019, after having shot, edited, or produced more than 25 episodes of the series).

Recent director of photography credits include five episodes of Al Jazeera’s flagship program “Empire,” the fictional feature film “Right of Way,” and the documentary “Beyond the Beach” (for which he received a United Nations Foundation Prize).

He has edited commercials, music videos, documentaries, and narrative films, including feature length projects.

Andrew studied film & television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
